What is Skys?
Skys is a free real-time strategy game in the browser. It shows live positions of real aircraft (ADS-B) and ships (AIS) worldwide and generates missions on top of that traffic: search and rescue, interceptions, medical evacuation, smuggling, piracy and more.
Is the traffic in Skys real?
Yes. Aircraft and ship positions come from open live sources such as OpenSky Network, adsb.lol, AISStream and Fintraffic Digitraffic. Only the incidents, the vessels in trouble and the characters are fictional.
Is Skys free? Do I need to download anything?
Skys is free to play and runs in any modern browser on desktop or phone. There is nothing to install and no sign-up is required.
Can I play on the bad guys' side?
Yes. Besides the coordinator (coast guard and rescue) there is a shadow side: smuggling, running patrols, air drops. There is no terrorism or hostage-taking, and crews are always released.

The whole world is live. You can focus on regions such as the Baltic Sea, North Sea, English Channel, Mediterranean, Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, US coasts, Japan, Southeast Asia, Australia and more.
